In celebration of our 56th anniversary, the West Jackson Fire District has unveiled a redesigned website with new features to engage our community. The new, user-friendly wjfd.org is part of our continued effort to engage with our community.
“With the rapid growth of Braselton and Hoschton, we want to make every effort to connect with new property owners in our district. We’ll be doing more to reach out through the website, social media and community events, letting people know what services we offer and that we are ready to respond in an emergency,” Fire Chief Ben Stephens said.
Here, the public can learn about the West Jackson Fire District service area, stations, fleet, staff and elected officials; sign up for news updates, schedule inspections with the fire marshal; and register for free programs like car seat safety checks.
We encourage residents and business owners to SUBSCRIBE to our online news updates where we will continue to share important safety updates and behind-the-scenes features.
The West Jackson Fire District was established in 1968 to provide fire protection for 30 square miles in western Jackson County, including portions of the cities of Braselton and Hoschton. The department’s two stations are staffed with full-time and part-time personnel, highly trained and ready to serve the community. Visit wjfd.org or follow West Jackson Fire on Facebook and Instagram to learn more.
