Burn Permits: From this page you can obtain a burning permit for Hand Piled Natural Vegetation. This permit is required for burning all Natural Vegetation that is hand piled, including leaf piles on the premises that they fall, and vegetative debris disposal from storm damage, weed abatement, disease and/or pest prevention. You can also obtain a burning permit by calling 1-877-OK2-BURN (652-2876). Fires should not be initiated before 8:00 a.m. and should be completely extinguished before dark.
 
Town of Braselton: The Town of Braselton has a rich heritage and the unique characteristic of being located not only in Jackson County but also spanning into three additional counties: Hall, Gwinnett, and Barrow. City of Hoschton: The City of Hoschton is a small community and a wonderful place to call home. It is located just off Interstate 85 in Jackson County in north Georgia, about 35 miles northeast of the Atlanta perimeter. Jackson County is included in the 10 fastest growing counties in the country yet offers an abundance of open spaces and unspoiled views of the state’s Piedmont Region – just south of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our climate is moderate, pleasant, and enjoyable for a wide variety of outdoor activities.
 
JCEMS: Jackson County Emergency Services operates as a department of Jackson County, Georgia Government. Within this department, three interrelated divisions function to provide essential emergency services to citizens and visitors: Emergency Medical Services (EMS); Enhanced 911 Communications (E911); and Emergency Management Agency (EMA). This department is lead by one emergency services director who oversees operations, develops long range plans, budgets expenditures, and coordinates the diverse activities of all divisions.

Braselton Police: The Police Department is located next to Town Hall. There is an officer on duty 24 hours per day. Please call 911 in an emergency. The non-emergency and telephone number during non-business hours is 706.658.2852 x1101.
